Service Description

Gelli plates were first introduced into the UK around 2010. They are made of a synthetic material and, if looked after, can be reused over a period of years. They produce monoprints as each print is unique. The prints are produced with acrylic paint and all sorts of materials can be used to print with - from botanicals to bubble wrap! I start the workshop slowly with a simple colour mixed prints, moving on to using stencils, masks and found materials. This is a workshop suitable for all ages 11+.  People who have never considered themselves artistic are often delighted by what they can create, and you will be leaving with a folder of your own mono prints which can be used to make cards, bookmarks or simply framed.  Children 11-15 are welcome at half price, accompanied by an adult.
