About this workshop:

Gelli plates were first introduced into the UK around 2010. They are made of a synthetic material and, if looked after, can be reused over a period of years. They produce monoprints as each print is unique. The prints are produced with acrylic paint and all sorts of materials can be used to print with - from botanicals to bubble wrap! I start the workshop slowly with a simple colour mixed prints, moving on to using stencils, masks and found materials. People who have never considered themselves artistic are often delighted by what they can create, and you will be leaving with a folder of your own mono prints which can be used to make cards, bookmarks or simply framed.  DETAILS: No. of participants: Maximum four (4) Location: The Shed, Inverie, Knoydart Start: 10:00am Break: 1 hour break for lunch End: 5:00pm PRICING: - Mon-Fri: £70pp (includes lunch at Knoydart Tearoom) - Sat-Sun: £60pp (lunch not included, but we recommend booking in to The Old Forge) - Children 11+ are welcome to attend this workshop at half price, accompanied by a paying adult.
